Victoria Beckham delights fans as she pulls her signature leg pose again

Victoria Beckham is up to her old trick – posing with one leg pointing up towards the sky while she reclines on some furniture.

The 47-year-old former Spice Girl was never hugely respected for her vocal skills or dance abilities – while some question her integrity as a fashion designer of her struggling brand as she doesn’t actually design any of her collection.

But if there is one thing she seems determined to ensure everyone knows that she does do, and does well, is raising her leg into her signature sitting pose.

And proving again she has flexibility as well as style, Vicky took to social media on Tuesday to show herself laying on a brown sofa while sending her leg skywards.

She created a flashing montage consisting of two images taken by her 19-year-old son Romeo’s girlfriend, Mia Regan.

Victoria was wearing a checked power suit and looked surprisingly relaxed as she pulled her leg into the highest possible position.

Uploading the images to her Instagram, she wrote: “I’m going on tour in my way! #VBPose in Paris” – while also crediting 19-year-old Mia for her photography work.

One impressed fan gushed in the comment's of Victoria's Instagram post: "This is the reason i said i love everything about you... creativity and making something out of nothing ... i will forever love positivity fashion and style."

Victoria has never fully explained her bizarre choice of sitting position – but sparked something of a craze for other people to emulate the pose in recent years.

Appearing on Ellen DeGeneres’s talk show in November 2019, the 63-year-old host tried to get to the bottom of Vicky’s unusual pose.

She asked her: “Is that a challenge or is it just comfortable for you to lay [like that]?”

But slippery old Vicky evaded the question and just laughed that it was something “fun” to do.

She giggled: “Do you know, the great thing about instagram is that people will tag me in pictures and literally their cats doing it, their dogs doing it, their babies doing it.

“It’s very entertaining.”

The old ham regularly strikes her signature pose on Instagram while wearing glamorous poses.

Back in 2015 she wrote: “It's amazing what u can do in a jumpsuit!” alongside a photo of herself in a luxury hotel room.

While in 2016 she recreated the pose while Eva Longoria sat beside her, writing as she shared the photo on Instagram: “High kicks in Cannes.”

Victoria’s light-hearted activities come amid fresh fury aimed at the Beckham family – who enraged many last year when the singer-turned-designer was exposed for applying for furlough money to pay her staff during lockdown despite having a £330 million fortune.

The more recent scandal involving the family has involved Vicky’s husband David – who sparked fury by accepting a multimillion pound deal to be an ambassador for the upcoming football World Cup which is due to take place in Qatar.

In a column for the Mirror, Polly Hudson writes: “Qatar has a shameful human rights record, and the country’s mistreatment of migrant workers – ie those making the World Cup possible – is incredibly distressing.

“Seems that when it comes to ethics, UNICEF ambassador Beckham is happy to bend them too.”
