Victoria Beckham likes to go all out. Whether it's her runway show or a new drop for her booming beauty brand. Fresh from introducing her latest fragrance 21:50 Rêverie, the designer is now offering a way for customers to get up close and personal with the new aroma.
Victoria Beckham Beauty just opened an immersive pop-up installation in New York City. It supplies a "transformative journey to the aromatic rainforests in the heart of Java." Basically, it's a chance to experience a 2001 open-air dinner date Beckham had with her husband, where they were surrounded by rice fields and vanilla vines in Java, Indonesia. Once the clock turned 21:50, the landscape was illuminated with thousands of tea lights. The installation accomplishes this incredible feat via larger-than-life flacon, audio sound clouds and an olfactive discovery through the fragrance's key notes of raw gourmand vanilla, crisp cedarwood and earthy tonka bean.
"It's a meditative and reflective moment where any visitor that steps inside can activate their senses and experience their own moment of Rêverie," explains Beckham. Visitors can even become part of the pop-up by leaving a note on the installation. They can also score a complementary sample of the fragrance while supplies last.
Head on over to the High Line in New York City (enter at 14th Street near 10th Avenue) to experience it for yourself. The 21:50 Rêverie Sensory Immersion runs through October 24 from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time.
