Victoria Beckham celebrated her 23rd wedding anniversary on Monday — poking fun at the critics along the way.

The former Spice Girl posted a picture of her with husband David on Instagram, writing: “They say he isn’t funny, they say I never smile, they said it wouldn’t last,

“Today we celebrate 23 years being married. David you are my everything, I love you so much.”

It came as she opened up to Vogue Australia on her fears for her daughter, 10-year-old Harper, in an age of body shaming on social media.

She told the magazine: “Harper isn’t on social media, so we don’t have to worry about that just yet. But seeing how cruel people can be, yes it really does [concern me].

“She’s at that age where her body is going to start changing, but it’s about making sure we communicate a lot as a family and she surrounds herself with nice friends. But it is quite terrifying, I can’t lie.”

It comes after her eldest son Brooklyn married Nicola Peltz in a romantic ceremony.

The 27-year-old actress and socialite admitted her husband has felt “a lot of pressure” over pleasing people with his career choices in the past.

Speaking to Tatler during a recent cover interview, Peltz said her husband has since been able to find inspiration through his love of being in the kitchen and she said he is “in heaven” working as a chef.

“He felt a lot of pressure to please people with his career and he didn’t love it,” she told the publication.

Beckham, who has recently revealed a love of cooking for other people, has shifted his career path several times in recent years.

However, Peltz is confident her husband’s favourite place is surrounded by food.

“You can tell that when Brooklyn’s in the kitchen he’s in heaven,” Peltz added.

The actor also revealed it was her idea to start filming his cooking skills.

She said: “Ever since the pandemic, all he’s wanted to talk about is being in the kitchen, so I just started filming him one day. I said, “This is what you love.”’
