Victoria and David Beckham ‘embarrassed’ by Nicola Peltz wedding planner drama

David and Victoria Beckham have been left 'mortified' by the recent lawsuit drama initiated by the Peltz family against their wedding planners.

The couples' eldest son Brooklyn Beckham, 23, tied the knot with billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz, 28, at her family's Miami estate last year. The wedding was a lavish affair with many A-listers in attendance but the sordid details of the big day has come to light as the Peltz family have launched legal action against the second set of wedding planners hired for the job.

Nelson Peltz, 80, launched legal action against the owners of Plan Design Events - Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba - after they failed to return his huge $159,000 deposit for his daughter's wedding last year. The Peltz family hired the duo after their initial planner, Preston Bailey – who planned Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner’s wedding - stepped down.

Almost one year on from the couples big day, the entire event has been overshadowed by the family's current legal action leaving the Beckhams embarrassed. Private details of the wedding have now come to light, as Plan Design Events have countersued against the Peltz's - accusing the family of poor communication and of making a number of difficult demands on short notice.

“After launching legal action against the wedding planners, Nicola’s father is determined for this lawsuit to go ahead,” the source told OK! Magazine. “But the Beckhams are horrified by the whole thing. It’s very expensive and it doesn’t put anyone in a good light.”

In court scathing text messages between Nicola and the wedding planners have come to light in fiery exchanges where she said she was “tired of catching” their repeated mistakes. The guest list has been a huge part of the drama, including one conversation about Lewis Hamilton attending the bash, Nicola wrote: “We spoke to him. He can’t come so explain why you said he rsvpd yes.”

The planner said in response, “I need time to do this. I’m going to take a moment to learn the app [to manage the guest list] and send you the information. I hate looking like a fool but I hate the most not giving you what you need ASAP. I will be back soon.”

In another text exchange, Nicola seems increasingly frustrated that she hasn’t been given a list of who has and hasn’t been invited. “This is not what I asked for. I ASKED FOR OUR INVITE LIST. IN. VITE. NOT. RSVP. Can u manage to send that to me [sic],” she wrote.

Nicola also allegedly rejected the floral arrangements for not being white enough. Responding to a picture of peonies and cabbage roses, she reportedly said: “They should be more white – I didn’t realise the second picture [of roses] were cream.”

Not even Brooklyn was safe during the planning of the wedding, as texts in court revealed Nicola snapped at his idea to have 'his and hers' burgers available for guests at the bash.

The aspiring chef, 23, suggested to have “Brooklyn” and “Nicola” burgers to be served at the wedding. Brooklyn suggested having a “double or single burger” as a “Brooklyn” burger and a “Nicola burger witch [sic] is no bun and it’s lettuce instead of Bun and meat for the girls”.

Reacting to the idea of calling one of the burgers “Bag it Like Beckham”, Nicola allegedly replied: “These names are embarrassing.”
