Victor Wembanyama participated in the NBA’s All-Star Weekend for the first time but unfortunately, it didn’t have the best start.
Wembanyama, whose team did not fare well in the Rising Stars games on Friday night, also participated in the Skills Challenge on Saturday Night. While competing alongside other former No. 1 picks Anthony Edwards and Paolo Banchero, the rookie impressed when he was on the court.

But his group, partially because Edwards was shooting left-handed, did not live up to his standards. They lost to the representatives from the hometown Pacers in this three-on-three challenge.

When asked about why he looked so sad, Wembanyama said that his teammates just wanted to have fun.
But he clarified that in his experience, he has fun when he is winning.
