Victor Wanyama hopes to see some Celtic supporters in attendance as Dunfermline face Ayr United today.
The midfielder, who joined the Pars earlier this week, could make his debut when they travel to Somerset Park at 3pm.
Wanyama has linked up with his old Celtic manager, Neil Lennon, at East End Park. In a fateful turn of events, the pair's first game at Dunfermline is against Ayr, who are led by none other than Scott Brown.
"I hope we’ll have some Celtic fans come along to cheer us on," said Wanyama (Record).

"It’s always great to see them, and I know they’ll be behind us as we try to push the club up the table."
Brown took charge of Ayr over a year ago and has them well in contention for promotion to the Scottish Premiership as the run-in approaches.
His team will do well to stifle Wanyama this afternoon, although the Kenyan has the utmost respect for his old colleague: "He’s a great manager and has been doing well," he told dafc.co.uk.
"As a player, he was fantastic.
"He’s been a leader, he’s shown us the way how it should be done. He’s an example, and I have big respect for him."
