Leeds United chief Victor Orta has admitted he's 'nervous' about how a mid-season World Cup will affect the Whites and how the club will try to deal with it.
The World Cup begins in less than a month in Qatar and has thrown the Premier League's scheduling into a mess over the first twelve weeks of the season, with some sides playing up to two league games a week along with European commitments.
Some of Leeds' best players will almost certainly be involved at this year's tournament, including Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson for the USA team, Mateusz Klich for Poland, Robin Koch for Germany and Diego Llorente and Rodrigo as possibilities for Spain.

Speaking to Argentinian newspaper at the Ole Sports Summit, Orta admitted his nerves over what having the World Cup during the Premier League season could mean for Leeds.
"Well, I don't know, because it's never happened. I am expectant and nervous, because it is an issue that comes out of the control of the clubs. In addition, with our growth we are going to have several players involved.
"I really don't know how to manage the post. The pre seems easier to me: a motivated player, performing, wanting to have minutes and be a protagonist, with the World Cup there, trying to arrive in the best conditions and contributing things to the team.
"Then, when the post-World Cup adrenaline valley of those players comes, you will have to look forward and you will have four or five months of the season left.
"How can this disconnection be made? How can it be combined with the performance of the club? Previously there were vacations in between for rest, now it will be a matter of a week, ten days.
"It will be a reference that we have never had before and that we will try to make it the least problematic for the life of the clubs. We are going on December 26 against Manchester City, nothing less!"
