Vicky Pattison says she didn't see her recent engagement coming at all.
The former Geordie Shore star, 34, was in Dubai when her now-fiancé Ercan Ramadan, 38, got down on one knee and popped the question.
During a recent guest appearance on The Moments That Made Me podcast with Roxie Nafousi, Vicky said she was in "shock" when her long-term boyfriend asked her to be his wife.
She was particularly surprised he proposed to her as she says they had a "pretty terrible" Valentine's Day.
Vicky explained to listeners: "We had a pretty terrible Valentine's, it was just a shocker.
"Everything that could've gone wrong, went wrong. We sat in this restaurant for three hours without getting anything to eat and then I said, 'Should we just get a McDonald's and leave?'"
The reality star said Ercan made up for the shambles by having the restaurant decorated with rose petals for their date after he popped the question.
She continued: "The place where he was going to propose, there was rose petals everywhere. He said, 'Because we had a really bad Valentine's I thought I'd do something special'.
"I was fully believing his lies and having a nice time and didn't expect anything. It was a lovely surprise."
Vicky and Ercan got engaged during their romantic getaway to Dubai.
Sharing the incredible news on her Instagram to confirm they are getting married, she wrote: "I choose you and I'll choose you over and over without pause, without a doubt, in a heartbeat... It'll always be you. To our forever @ercan_ram."
The Geordie babe is no doubt looking forward to marrying the love of her life after she was forced to call off her engagement to ex John Noble in the past.
The pair were set to tie the knot, but she dumped her cheating ex-fiancé at the end of 2018 after he was pictured looking cosy with multiple women.
Vicky, who was understandably left heartbroken, swiftly kicked him out of the house they owned together.
But now, the inspiring TV star shares a stunning Essex home with Ercan and their dog Milo, and she's happier than ever.
In recent days, Vicky gave insight into her sex life with her hunk - revealing that she has to schedule naughty time in as she is so busy.
Vicky confessed in her book The Secret To Happy: "I live by lists to the point I'm turning into Monica from Friends.
"Remember in that episode after Phoebe's wedding, when she's ticking off everything, and Chandler says to her, 'Is there any room on that thing for us to have sex?' That's me.
"I’ll properly plan if Ercan and I are going to have sex. I mean the poor fella, he puts up with it, but I’m sure he wishes I was a bit more footloose and fancy-free and chucked him a quickie on a Sunday night once in a while."
