Former I'm A Celebrity winner Vicky has spoken candidly about her grandpa's battle with alzheimers and on Friday vowed to continue raising money and awareness for the Alzheimer's Society.

In a moving post, Vicky from Newcastle said: "You were the best granda I could have ever asked for and I feel incredibly grateful to you for everything you taught me and all the beautiful memories you gave me.

"You taught me the importance of hard work, kindness, and above all else family values.

"I promise to honour your memory and live in a way that I know would make you proud- travelling lots, having adventures and putting my family first.

"So many of the things I actually like about myself are traits of yours- you made me brave, you made me strong and you made me the life and soul of the party (at least I'll try- I don't know if I quite got your stamina... you legend).

"In your memory, I will continue to support, raise money and awareness for the amazing @alzheimerssoc in any way that I can- no one should have to watch their beautiful family members slowly fade away through that awful disease.

"I know you're up there dancing with your Mavis now granda... exactly where you should be... I love you both dearly and I'm happy you're finally reunited... RIP my angels."
