Vice President Kamala Harris arrived at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport and is en route to Farmington Hills, Michigan, for the upcoming “Unite for America” livestream event hosted by Oprah Winfrey later tonight.
Upon her arrival, Harris was warmly greeted by various individuals, including Michigan Teamsters President Kevin Moore. Moore recently endorsed the Harris-Walz ticket, a decision that came after the International Brotherhood of Teamsters’ executive board chose not to endorse any candidate in the presidential race.
During her visit, the vice president engaged with members of the Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Michigan, who were dressed in their football and cheerleader uniforms. They shared moments of camaraderie, taking selfies and a group photo together before Harris proceeded to her motorcade.
The highly anticipated virtual rally is scheduled to kick off at 8 p.m. Eastern Time, offering an opportunity for supporters and viewers to engage with the event from the comfort of their homes.
