Vice President JD Vance is set to attend the Senate Republican lunch on Wednesday to address the potential paths forward on budget reconciliation. This comes in the wake of President Donald Trump's unexpected endorsement of the House one-bill approach, causing confusion within the Senate.
Following a meeting in Senate Majority Leader John Thune's office, several senators expressed the need to hear from Vance before reaching a decision. Currently, the Senate is engaged in discussions regarding a budget blueprint and is slated to commence a lengthy vote-a-rama on Thursday.

Senator Lindsey Graham, the Chair of the Budget Committee, stated, 'I don't want to say anything until after lunch when JD speaks,' reflecting the anticipation surrounding Vance's address to the Senate Republicans.
