During the visit, Vice President Harris expressed her preference for nacho cheese-flavored Doritos, referring to them as her go-to snack. She was seen selecting a bag of the popular chips and shared her fondness for the original nacho cheese flavor with reporters present at the convenience store.
When questioned about her debate preparation for the upcoming matchup with Trump scheduled for September 10, Harris mentioned that she had not engaged in any debate prep activities during the Sunday bus tour. She emphasized taking things one day at a time, indicating a focused and deliberate approach to her preparations.
This stop at Sheetz adds to the campaign's series of visits to regional food establishments, following Governor Walz's visit to a Runza fast-food chain, known for its popularity in Nebraska and surrounding states, after a campaign rally outside Omaha on Saturday.
