Vice President Harris To Hold GOTV Rally At University

Get Out The Vote rally ahead of the Democratic presidential primaries featuring U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris at South Carolina State University in SC

Vice President Kamala Harris is set to hold a get-out-the-vote rally at the University of Wisconsin in Madison on October 30, as confirmed by a campaign spokesperson. The event aims to engage college students in the electoral process, especially as early voting is already underway in key battleground states.

As part of the campaign's efforts to energize voters, a lineup of musical artists will be performing at the rally. The list includes Gracie Abrams, Mumford & Sons, Remi Wolf, and The National's Matt Berninger and Aaron Dessner, who will be part of the campaign's GOTV concert series.

This rally is strategically timed to coincide with the early voting period in Wisconsin, which began on October 22. Similarly, early in-person voting is scheduled to commence statewide in Michigan on October 26.

In addition to the event in Madison, Vice President Harris is also slated to join forces with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz for a joint rally in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The rally will feature singer Maggie Rogers and is expected to draw a significant crowd of supporters.

These campaign efforts underscore the importance of mobilizing voters, particularly young people and college students, in the lead-up to the upcoming election. By leveraging the popularity of musical performances and high-profile appearances, the Harris campaign aims to drive voter turnout and secure crucial support in key swing states.
