During a taped interview, Harris dismissed the notion that she is lagging in support among Black men, pointing to the turnout at her recent rally in Atlanta as evidence.
Harris expressed frustration at the suggestion that resistance from some male voters may be misogynistic, stating that such a perspective is uninformed. She highlighted that Black men, like any other demographic of voters, expect candidates to earn their vote through policies and actions.
Earlier this month, Harris unveiled new proposals aimed at targeting Black men in an effort to strengthen her coalition leading up to Election Day. While recent polling indicates that Harris may have room to grow her support among Black voters, especially men, she remains focused on engaging with all voters and earning their trust.
