A Melbourne man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead in a city apartment.
Police located the 51-year-old woman at the Docklands address on the afternoon of December 30 last year.
The officers went to her apartment as part of an investigation into another woman's death.
Homicide Squad detectives on Monday charged a 22-year-old Huntingdale man over the 51-year-old woman's death.
He is facing counts of murder, robbery, theft and obtain property by deception.
The man is due to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court in May.
