The Seahawks’ season has been over for about an hour and we already have our first controversy to tweet through.
Observe the reaction of former Seattle punter Jon Ryan to several defensive backs smoking in the locker room following their one-point win over the Cardinals – which wasn’t enough to get them in the playoffs.
The Seahawk way is a bit different these days I guess. I could say a lot of things right now because I’m shaking with anger but I’ll just say I’m really disappointed. pic.twitter.com/ePoFQw7UPE

Shaking with anger seems a bit of an extreme reaction – even a bit of old man yelling out cloud energy coming from a guy who seemed pretty cool when he was playing.
In any case, some Seahawks players who are still on the team are being more understanding, although still not happy with it. Free safety Quandre Diggs says he gets the celebrating but that veterans expect more.

Bobby Wagner sounded a similar note, attributing it to youth.
Not in the playoffs, so Bobby Wagner is not happy. He’s real. He says the cigars-smoking, music-blaring right now in #Seahawks locker room postgame at Arizona is youth.
No victory cigar for Wagner? “No,” he says. “Not at all.” Also “I love playing for this team” @thenewstribune pic.twitter.com/dFGOyZgEKI

Anyway, the new season of True Detective with Jodie Foster starts next Sunday about this time, and it’s supposed to be really good.
