ESPN’s Stephen Holder has some very good news for the Indianapolis Colts ahead of their Week 6 matchup with the Tennessee Titans.
Holder reported on Saturday evening that the odds of Michael Pittman playing “seem good.” Holder also added that Josh Downs is “expected” to play and that Anthony Richardson is also expected back.
WR Michael Pittman Jr. has made the trip here to Nashville and odds of him playing seem good. Relatedly, WR Josh Downs is expected to play after missing two practices this week.
With QB Anthony Richardson also expected back, things are looking a bit better for Indy. https://t.co/x3SqWdSKLt

All three players were listed on the final Friday injury report as questionable.
Earlier in the week, it was reported by Adam Schefter that Pittman could have to land on injured reserve with the expectation being that he would miss multiple weeks. However, to the surprise of just about everyone, Pittman practice Friday in a full capacity and will seemingly try to push through the back injury that he has.
Downs, who is dealing with a toe injury he sustained this past Sunday, also missed practiced on Wednesday and Thursday this week, as Pittman did, but was a full participant on Friday.
Richardson, meanwhile, practiced all three days just as he did a week ago, but was a full participant for the first time on Thursday. The reporters in attendance at practice all seemed to note that Richardson was moving much better this week compared to last.
On Wednesday, Richardson spoke with reporters about what boxes he would need to check in order to play this Sunday.
Obviously, having all three of these players available is a massive boost for the Colts offense. The last time we saw Richardson and Pittman on the field together, the two connected on a 32 yard completion and a 28 yard completion against Pittsburgh that eventually led to Colts’ touchdowns.
Over the last two weeks, Downs has been the go-to target in the passing game, leading the team in targets (21) and receptions (17) during that span, totaling 151 yards with a touchdown.
On Friday, the Colts already ruled out running back Jonathan Taylor, who is still working through a high-ankle sprain.
The Colts offense is up against a stingy Titans’ defense this week that ranks 10th in yards per rush allowed and second in yards per pass attempt.
