Vernon Kay took matters into his own hands as he failed to believe Love Island star Jay Younger's body claims. The ITV2 dating show's former contestant appeared on This Morning on Tuesday (August 2) alongside co-stars Billy Brown and Deji Adeniyi.
The trio were fresh from Love Island's finale party on Monday night (August 1) when they appeared on the ITV daytime show alongside Vernon and co-host Rochelle Humes as they acted as swimwear models for Lisa Snowdon's latest fashion segment. The former islanders also got involved in a fitness segment, go up against Vernon in a plank challenge.
But as the boys did their best poses and catwalk moves to show off a variety of swimming shorts and floral shirts, Vernon was distracted by Jay's very toned physique.

The Bolton-born TV star quizzed the investment analyst, who left Love Island's Mallorcan villa without finding love, as he donned a pair of teal blue shorts live on the programme. "What's your favourite stomach exercise for your abs?" Vernon ask, clearly uninterested by the fashion part of the segment.
"I actually don't do any stomach exercises," Jay replied but as he did, Vernon jumped from his seat and grabbed Jay by the arm while Lisa shouted out: "Oh whatever!" while Rochelle sat back in disbelief. Vernon then proceeded to pull Jay forward before pushing him off the catwalk and out of shot of the cameras.
As Vernon went back to his seat, he shouted: "That's outrageous!" before standing with his arms out wide adding; "Why would you say that?" Rochelle mimicked Vernon's arms gesture and as she also asked 'why'.
Singer-turned-presenter Rochelle and Lisa ended up laughing at Vernon's outburst before he sat back down. "'I don't do any abs!' He's all abs!" Lisa then tried to get the segment back on track by calling Deji out in the last pair of tropical-themed shorts. Jay was allowed back on the catwalk to pose with Billy and Deji to end the segment.
And Vernon has got form for walking off during the show. During Monday's episode of This Morning, the former Family Fortunes host listened to Rochelle revean during the 'This Morning's View' segment, new research that found women to be better drivers than men, leading to Vernon and guest Gyles Brandreth jokingly walking off set.
Rochelle began: “The research took place at a Newcastle university and they tested 33 women and 43 men driving on a simulator which aims to replicate the conditions car users will face on the road." Another guest said: “Well, I think that’s just telling us something we knew already knew which is women are safer drivers.”
"Better footballers,” Vernon interjected. "Quite frankly I think we rule, don’t you agree?” she asked Rochelle. As they continued to praise the research, Gyles felt it was time to leave. "Shall we go?" he asked Vernon as he got up from the sofa and walked away. Also getting up, Vernon said to Rochelle: "Call Marvin, meet us in the pub. Over to you."
