Jose Ibarra, 26, stands accused of the murder of nursing student Laken Riley, 22, on the University of Georgia campus earlier this year. His brother, Diego Ibarra, 29, was also arrested for green card fraud, suspected of having ties to Tren de Aragua. Additionally, their younger brother, Argenis Ibarra, who had entered the U.S. illegally multiple times, is reported to be a member of the gang.

The gang has been linked to various crimes, including a mob assault on police officers in New York City and organized retail theft.
