The driver of a vehicle which was seized by Nottinghamshire Police after it was found to have no insurance told officers "I've only had my licence for five months". A team from Beeston specials policing team tracked down a car that was being driven around with no insurance,
They stopped the car and spoke to the driver. Sergeant Dilks of the policing team said the driver told officers: "I've only had my licence for five months," according to a Facebook post on the Broxtowe South Police page which was posted on Monday (June 20) morning at 6.21am.
But the car was then seized by police, and was taken away on the back of a tow truck, which can be seen in the photo above. The post says that the driver of the vehicle has been reported, will receive a £300 fine along with six points on his driving licence for not having insurance.
