Emergency services raced to the scene this morning after a car flipped onto its side near Baldonnel Aerodrome.
The single vehicle crash happened at around 11am today. Photos shared by Dublin Fire Brigade on Twitter show a vehicle flipped over with gardai and Air Corps military police from the nearby aerodrome assisting firefighters while one of the lanes was cordoned off.
Fortunately there was no one injured in the incident and the road has since fully reopened. A Garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Gardai attended a single-vehicle traffic collision that occurred at approximately 11am today, Tuesday, March 21, 2023 on Baldonnel Road in the Rathcoole area of Co Dublin. No injuries were reported. This road is currently open for use."

A spokesperson for the Irish Defence Forces told Dublin Live no Defence Forces vehicles or personnel were involved in the incident. They added: "Our Military Police personnel based at Casement Aerodrome assisted in traffic management at the request of local Gardai."
