Emergency services raced to the scene this morning after a car flipped onto its side near Baldonnel Aerodrome.

The single vehicle crash happened at around 11am today. Photos shared by Dublin Fire Brigade on Twitter show a vehicle flipped over with gardai and Air Corps military police from the nearby aerodrome assisting firefighters while one of the lanes was cordoned off.

Fortunately there was no one injured in the incident and the road has since fully reopened. A Garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Gardai attended a single-vehicle traffic collision that occurred at approximately 11am today, Tuesday, March 21, 2023 on Baldonnel Road in the Rathcoole area of Co Dublin.
