Vegas Golden Knights offered free lap dances for life if they win Stanley Cup

The Vegas Golden Knights have been promised “free lap dances for life” by a local strip club if they win the Stanley Cup.

The Golden Knights will face the Florida Panthers in the Finals of Ice Hockey's prestigious Cup, with Game One taking place on Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Vegas. The Golden Knights beat the Dallas Stars in the Western Conference Finals to set up their Finals appearance.

In the Eastern Conference, the Panthers beat the Carolina Hurricanes in a 4-0 series sweep to book their place in the Finals. The winner of the best of seven series will win the Stanley Cup this month.

The Golden Knights finished top of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference, with a record of 51-22-9. Their Finals opponents, the Panthers, only just managed to secure a playoff place as a wild card after finishing eighth in the Eastern Conference with a 42-32-8 record.

Ahead of the Finals, it seems the Golden Knights have been given an extra incentive to win the trophy. A Las Vegas strip club is offering what is described as the “platinum VIP membership access” free of charge if they win the Stanley Cup.

Brittany Rose, the general manager of Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club Las Vegas, told Fox News of the prize that awaits the Golden Knights if they bring home the trophy. Should that happen, it would be their first Stanley Cup triumph in the franchise’s history, having only been founded in 2017.

Rose says that the members of the Golden Knights will be handed “free lap dances for life” if they win the Stanley Cup. "The success of the Vegas Golden Knights has played an integral role in boosting our community’s morale," said Rose.

"As the first professional sports team to debut in Las Vegas, we decided to show our support by extending free lap dances for life in efforts to help motivate and lead the [team] to victory."

The Golden Knights reached the Stanley Cup Finals in 2018, in what was their inaugural season as a franchise. Star winger Mark Stone spoke about the prospect of winning the trophy for the first time in their history when speaking to reporters ahead of the Game One opener.

“I’m not so sure they are here to finish what they started as much as it’s just they want to win,” said Stone. “These guys really want to win, man. Everybody in this organization wants to win.

“The owner stated he wants to win badly and you’ve seen that we’ve spended to the salary cap and we’ve added top-end players and key pieces throughout the time we’ve been here. These guys will do anything it takes.”
