Glasgow's newest rooftop bar and bowling alley is taking shape at one of the city's hotels.
Vega is set to open next month on the seventh floor of the YOTEL Glasgow and Glasgow Live has been given an exclusive look inside.
Named after one of the brightest stars in the universe, the venue has been created with Instagram in mind and boasts rooftop views of the city and an interior inspired by Glasgow’s music scene and British pop culture with a distinctly ‘space-age’ vibe.
Forget all your memories of all the harshly lit bowling alleys that smell like chips you visited as a kid - Vega is quite the opposite.
The bar, restaurant, and bowling alley is quite literally 'lit' with neon lighting and interactive light shows taking it from laid-back hangout during the day to 'the' place to be seen at night with some of the city's 'hottest' DJs on the decks.
Vega's restaurant will be serving breakfast through to brunch, lunch, and dinner, whilst the bespoke cocktail menu features a tipple for every taste including party-starting punch bowls.
The venue can also be hired for exclusive private events with a semi-private VIP area also available.
Euan Wilson, Manager at Vega said: “We’re hugely excited to be leading the way with a totally new and fresh concept for Glasgow, there’s really nothing quite like us. With its bold design, epic food and drink offering, and vibrant programming, we’re bringing fun to Glasgow in a uniquely Vega way.”
