Wales Economy Minister Vaughan Gething has given a health update on the First Minister who is isolating after testing positive for coronavirus.
The Welsh Government announced on Friday that Covid passes are to be scrapped and the need to wear face coverings in certain venues removed later this month as coronavirus cases continue to fall.
Mark Drakeford chaired a meeting of his senior ministers virtually on Thursday morning to decide on the changes, and afterwards said vaccination levels and decreasing infection rates mean the country can "look forward to brighter times ahead".
But Mr Gething has been taking his place on Friday, speaking to the media and taking the press conference. You can follow live updates from the 12.15pm briefing here.
He also gave an update on the First Minister's health, telling Sky News he was "fine all things being considered", and was able to work "through most of yesterday".
Mr Gething, who also tested positive for coronavirus earlier this month, told BBC Radio Wales: "I had contact with him yesterday, and he's fine all things considered.
"I know myself self isolating isn't a great deal of fun, but it's the right thing to do and to protect other people. He was still able to work and undertake a range of meetings."
Survey: What do you think of Covid isolation rules?
On Friday, Mr Drakeford tweeted his thanks for the messages of concern.
He wrote: "As you may have heard, I’m isolating after testing positive for coronavirus. I’d like to thank everyone for their well wishes."
Adding: "The cabinet has reviewed the latest evidence as part of the three-week review. The improving public health situation in Wales and our incredible vaccination programme, means we can relax some of the protections in place.
"We have carefully considered the self-isolation rules. These will remain in Wales for the time being. Self-isolation is an important way of breaking the chain of transmission and preventing more people from becoming infected."
