The biggest outside addition to the Oklahoma City Thunder sans draft this offseason finally revealed their jersey number.
After years of speculation, decorated international player Vasilije Micic finally made the jump to the NBA, as he signed a three-year, $23.5 million deal with the Thunder.
Now we know what his jersey number will be, as Micic will wear No. 29 for the Thunder. He becomes the first Thunder player since Mike Wilks in 2010 to sport the number.
Micic previously wore the No. 22 with his former club Anadolu Efes. But that number was taken by first-round lottery rookie Cason Wallace after he was drafted No. 10 by the Thunder in the 2023 NBA draft.
The 29-year-old will provide the Thunder with depth at the guard spot, as the former EuroLeague MVP was one of the best non-NBA players around the world prior to officially signing with OKC.
