Vape thrown at Fenerbahce goalkeeper during Rangers Europa League clash

Fenerbahce goalkeeper Irfan Can Egribayat had a vape thrown at him during the Europa League tie against Rangers.

The Turkish keeper alerted referee Espen Eskas to a missile thrown from the stands at Ibrox in the closing stages of the match.

Egribayat had been going to collect the ball to take a goal kick when play was halted as the referee jogged to the penalty area to collect the missile.

The referee was handed what appeared to be a vaping device with the goalkeeper claiming it had been launched in his direction.

The item was then placed off the side of the pitch with play to resume for the final moments of extra-time in Govan.

Commentator Rory Hamilton said: "Well, a few missiles coming on. That is something we never want to see."
