Vanessa Feltz is set to leave This Morning after 33 years as she focuses on her new Channel 5 show.
The veteran broadcaster, 63, has been a regular contributor to the ITV programme but will step away to concentrate on "Vanessa", launching on March 24 at 12.45pm.
"When I told everyone I wouldn't be able to do the show anymore, they were lovely about it. I heard from Alison Hammond and Holly Willoughby immediately and the bosses were charming. I'll miss working with them all," she told the Daily Star.
Feltz reflected on her three decades with the popular morning show, saying: "I have learned lots of stuff on This Morning. When I first did it, I had never been on TV before. I didn't know what was going on. I was bamboozled but they gave me a contract."
Her upcoming daytime programme on Channel 5 echoes her eponymous ITV show that ran from 1994 to 1998 and catapulted her to fame.
Speaking about her new venture, Feltz said: "I cannot wait to get started on this sparkling adventure with Channel 5. This show is all about YOU – your stories, your opinions, your emotions, and your triumphs."
The mother-of-two has been a broadcasting stalwart for more than 30 years, working across the BBC, where she presented on Radio 2 and BBC One for nearly two decades before leaving in 2022.
She later joined TalkTV for a two-year stint before departing amid channel restructuring, and in November replaced Carol Vorderman, 63, on her Sunday slot at LBC.
The new show "Vanessa" promises to cover celebrities, gossip, fashion, relationships and parenting when it begins later this month.
