Vanessa Feltz appeared emotional as she was asked 'how do you really feel' weeks after announcing her heartbreaking split. The TalkTV host shared her heartache earlier this month when she revealed her 16-year relationship with Ben Ofoedu was over.
The pair have been no stranger to talking about their relationship or putting on public displays of affection but speaking out on Sunday, February 5, Vanessa told her followers that she was "shocked" and "incredibly sad" as she addressed the split. In a frank video message she said the trust had been broken in their relationship.
The following day Ben, who shot to fame as one half of the dance duo Phats &Small in 1998 with the massive hit Turn Around, shared a picture of a broken heart emoji on his Instagram Stories. He has since spoken out on the split, admitting he cheated on his partner in an exclusive interview with The Mirror.

He said he had betrayed Vanessa's trust for a second time after she forgave him for cheating at the start of their relationship. Ben, 50, shared how his fiancee forgave him after he had sex three times with an older woman but he insisted that the affair in Ibiza was "just sex – and a chore". But he then admitted that his relationship was finally over when he later 'sexted' one woman and 'flirted' with another.
Last week, Vanessa said was feeling "battered and bruised" as she marked her 61st birthday. The This Morning agony aunt reflected over the past 12 months, which has obviously included becoming unexpectedly single.
Vanessa, who spent Valentine's Day on a healing trip to Ireland with her family, said she's "marching on" after the heartache and looking forward to the future. And in her latest update, Vanessa revealed she 'can't sleep in the middle of the night' but hopes it will get better.
While enjoying dinner at the Brasserie Of Light restaurant within London's Selfridges, she was asked by a friend from behind the camera, "Vanessa, you’re looking great but how do you really feel?"
After pulling a sad expression as her friend filmed her response, she said: "Well, no one said it was going to be easy and I must say it isn’t easy actually, especially in the middle of the night when I can’t sleep and all of that.
"But I’m keeping on, keeping on and I’ve got lots and lots of friends and family around me and I’m really loving that. Everyday I suppose I hope it’s going to get a little bit easier but thank you for asking."
As she posted the video to Instagram, Vanessa was again showered with support from her famous pals and fans. This Morning star Lisa Snowdon said: "Sending you the biggest hug darling V." Socialite Lizzie Cundy replied: "Keep strong my lovely."
TV star Trisha Goddard wrote: "Step by step…" alongside a red heart emoji. @gardnerrodney commented: "You're doing AMAZING. Try and be kind to yourself." @zoes_colourful_interiors added: "Sending you all my love."
