Vanessa Feltz accuses Eamonn and Dr Ranj of 'aggrieved, grudging malice' against This Morning

Vanessa Feltz has accused Eamonn Holmes and Dr Ranj of an "aggrieved, grudging malice" against This Morning.

The TV star has said that those who have spoken out against the culture of the popular daytime show are holding a grudge.

Former host Eamonn and ex resident doctor Ranj Singh have spoken out against the show after Phillip Schofield left last month.

Phil left the show and ITV after he admitted he had been involved in a workplace affair with a younger member of staff.

He has also been dropped by his agents since.

Vanessa spoke out on her Talk TV show where she said those who still work on the show "enjoy" it.

She said: "It has been suggested that quite a lot of the people who are very vocally critical of This Morning and, actually, it's a handful of people, there are some celebrities, a couple of journalists, and what's been suggested is quite a lot of them were once on the programme and aren't on it anymore.

"And that is the reason for this aggrieved, grudging malice that is coming out but if you ask people who are still on the programme and who are on it regularly, who enjoy being on it, they won't know what they're talking about."

Vanessa's comments come after Eamonn said there was a "cover-up" at This Morning after being dropped as a presenter alongside his wife Ruth Langsford.

During a GB News interview, he said: "Those in authority had to know what was going on and they thought they would dodge a bullet with this.

"With Schofield talking about those who speak out against him - namely me, Amanda Holden, Dr Ranj [Singh] as well. You simply sit there and think 'No mate, you’ve had it all your way for too long'."

While Dr Ranj said the show has a "toxic culture".

He released a statement talking about his time on the show: "I was on the show for 10 years and I genuinely loved and valued working there.

"However, over time I grew increasingly worried about things behind the scenes and how people, including myself, were being treated."

He went on to say that he "didn't know" what was going on with Phillip but said there were problems outside of that situation.
