Cars parked on a pavement in Greater Manchester have been spray painted with the word 'MOVE' and had their windows smashed by vandals in an overnight rampage.
Residents woke up this morning to find the carnage on their street in Leigh, with some posting photos on Facebook.
At least three vehicles appear to be affected by the overnight vandalism.
The incident has sparked discussion about "pavement parking" in the comments under the pictures, with some suggesting the cars were targeted because of their placement on the pavements.
But others have lashed out at the vandalism, calling it "appalling", reports Manchester Evening News.
One commenter said the way the cars are parked meant buggies and wheelchairs would not be able to get through, branding it "not acceptable". However, others defended the drivers, saying they "don't deserve this".
"Unfortunately a lot of our streets aren't wide enough for the amount of cars to park up so sometimes it's necessary to park partly on the pavement," one said.
"I know and can understand how this isn't good, but they should leave enough room for disability scooters and prams."
But others joked that the vandal "clearly can't spell" and that they can hardly make out the message.
Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for comment.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, a resident sparked outrage after "reserving" a parking spot with traffic cones.
The homeowner took it upon themselves to leave out traffic cones in the middle of a street - much to the annoyance of neighbours who spotted the person in action.
Posting to Reddit, one such neighbour shared a photo showing the cones- and it turned out several homeowners had also seen it.
In the snap captioned "neighbour's decided to save parking spaces," two traffic cones can be seen a car's width apart in the road.
