Police have appealed for information from the public after five cars were vandalised while parked in a Perth street.
Officers said in an appeal posted on social media that the cars were all parked on Strathtay Road when they were targeted sometime between 12.30am and 1.30am on Thursday, May 19.
Police Scotland is also investigating the theft of a van from an address in Aberfeldy on Monday, May 23.
They believe the white Ford Transit Connect van was taken from Burnside sometime between 6.30am and 5pm that day.
The van had the registration R444 GRW at the time it was stolen.
Anyone with information about either incident is asked to call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
The reference number for the first incident is 0251 of May 19 and the number for the second is 2719 of May 23.
Police Scotland issued the following advice to vehicle owners on Sunday night: “If you have an alarm, make sure it is in working order.
“If parking on street, try and park where you can maintain observations on the vehicle, in a well-lit area.
“Never leave valuables in your vehicle if you can avoid it.
“If you must leave them in your vehicle, they should be hidden away, and where possible security marked for easy identification purposes.”
