A group of vandals have been branded as "mindlessly silly" after they pulled up a flower display in Cork City.
People were left horrified this morning after soil was pulled out of the pots and strung across the ground up and down the street.
The cleanup is now underway. Meanwhile, one local business on the street has confirmed they've caught the hooligans on CCTV, reports Cork Beo.

The street is the posterchild of the city centre, with thousands of visitors flocking to it every day as it sits right by the English Market and has the famous outside dining setup on the lower part.
But it wasn't only there that was hit. The pots on Emmett Pl were also vandalised.
Labour Cllr John Maher described Wednesday morning's scene as "mindlessly silly".
He said: "So frustrating to see this disrespect and vandalism - I've no doubt our staff in the council will be out to sort and hope that businesses have camera footage and we catch who did this - mindless, silly behaviour."
Stephen Scully of Cork City Council's Parks and Recreation Department described what happened as "very disappointing" and added that they'd work to get them replaced.
He said: "A number of our planters at Emmet Place and Princess Street were vandalised last night.
"We have over 70 planters installed across the City in recent years, and our Parks Team put a lot of effort into maintaining various Spring and Summer pollinator displays, bringing great colour to our streets throughout the year, and giving much pleasure to people, as is evidenced from the very favourable feedback we receive.
"It is very disappointing that the actions of a tiny few last night have impacted on people's enjoyment of some of our streets today.
"Our Parks Team have tidied the mess, but the flowers are damaged and not capable of being saved.
"We will try and replace the floral displays shortly."
