A van driver has been jailed for four years after causing a head-on collision which left three people in hospital with serious injuries.
Dashcam footage shows a red Ford Transit van driven by Benjamin Foster, 35, crossing lanes into oncoming traffic before smashing into a Toyota Yaris at high speed on the A30 near Sherbourne in September 2023.
A man in his 60s was airlifted to hospital while a man and woman in their late teens were also hospitalised, all three suffering serious injuries as a result of the crash.
Foster, who plead guilty to driving without a license or insurance, as well as causing serious injury by dangerous driving at Bournemouth Crown Court yesterday (16 April), has been jailed for four years and disqualified from driving for seven years.
