Giovanni van Brockhorst is proud of Barry Ferguson after he led Rangers to an impressive 3-1 victory over Fenerbahce in the Europa League this evening.
Cyriel Dessers opened the scoring early doors before Vaclav Cerny's brace ensured the Ibrox side left Istanbul comfortably ahead in the tie.
Rangers fans are already dreaming of another Europa League run this season after they reached the competition's final almost three years ago.
Former boss van Bronkchorst led them to Seville, and tonight, live on TNT Sports, he outlined his delight at his old team's victory: "Perfect, perfect performance," he said.

Former Rangers full-back Allan Hutton was in an equally encouraged mood. He said: "They [Rangers] always had that threat.
"Barry Ferguson surprised a lot of people with that formation but it worked an absolute treat."
Ferguson's switch to a back five undoubtedly proved crucial for Rangers this evening. It gave his team a springboard from which to secure a noteworthy result.
Scott Arfield thinks it was only a positive result for Scottish football (BBC): "Everybody looks down on Scottish football and clubs and players that play in Scotland," he said.
"But it's proven time and time again that this club rises to the occasion in Europe."
