While You Were Sleeping

This 1995 rom-com stars Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman, Bullock plays a lonely subway worker who saves the life of a stranger (played by Pullman) when he's mugged and falls into a coma. She's presumed as being the stranger's fiancee by his family and later ends up falling for the brother.

When Harry Met Sally

Billy Crystal stars as Harry and Meg Ryan as Sally, two graduates who have a chance encounter and become friends. On a long car ride they discuss whether a man and a woman can be friends. Five years later there relationship has grown and their pair have to talk about their futures.

Love Actually

Sam played by Tom Hanks has still not come to terms with his wife's death so his eight-year-old son Jonah calls a national radio talk show, in the hopes of finding his father a new companion. Meg Ryan also stars in this 1993 movie.

You've Got Mail

Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks reunite to star in this 1999 film, which sees an owner of a bookstore chain meet the owner of a smaller independent bookshop but online where they fall in love and exchange emails. Neither of them are aware they are actually business rivals.

Notting Hill

Another 90s classic starring Hugh Grant, who in this film plays a bookseller who has an unexpected encounter with a famous movie star played by Julia Roberts that changes his life forever.

The Proposal

The 2009 movie follows New York editor Margaret played by Sandra Bullock who, when she faces deportation, convinces her assistant Andrew played by Ryan Reynolds to marry her and in return she will give him a promotion. However, a visit to his hometown to be introduced to his family changes things for both of them.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding

When 30-year-old Toula Portokalos played by Nia Vardalos falls for high school teacher Ian Miller played by (John Corbett) her Greek family are less than impressed to discover he isn't Greek and do everything they can to stop the couple getting closer.
