Siddharthnagar: A man allegedly brutally killed his father by slitting his throat with a sickle in Uttar Pradesh’s Siddharthnagar, sending shockwaves across the district.
According to the Dynamite News correspondent, the incident occurred on Monday moring in Kotiya Pandey Village under the Khesraha police station area.
The deceased has been identified as Baboolal Lodhi (65).

According to reports, Baboolal Lodhi was not taking the side of his son in an ongoing land dispute case in the village. The accused, identified as Atmaram, attacked his father with a sharp-edged weapon, leaving his father severely injured.
Death During Treatment
Upon receiving the information, the police rushed to the and took the injured Baboolal to the Community Health Center in Khesraha. Seeing his critical condition, he was referred to Siddharthnagar Medical College, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Statement by Grandson
The deceased’s grandson stated that Atmaram was thrashed by some villagers over the land dispute. However, Baboolal did not support his son, which infuriated him.
Police Begin Investigation
The Khesraha police have registered a case of murder and started searching for the accused son, Atmaram Lodhi.
