Utah running back Tavion Thomas has declared for the 2023 NFL draft, per NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
The 6-2, 238-pound junior suffered a toe injury in his last game, and has decided to focus on preparing for the next level.
Thomas carried the ball 142 times this season for 687 yards and seven touchdowns, averaging nearly five yards per carry. He earned first-team all-conference honors in 2021, when he led Utah with 1,108 yards and 21 touchdowns on the ground.
