Usher, the acclaimed R&B superstar, is set to receive the prestigious Voice of the Culture Award from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). This award is presented to ASCAP members who have made a significant impact on music and culture. Usher expressed his gratitude for the honor, emphasizing the importance of artistic development and the journey of experimentation in music.

With eight Grammy wins under his belt, Usher recently concluded a successful two-year Las Vegas residency and released his first solo album in eight years. He is gearing up for a 24-city U.S. tour titled “Past Present Future” scheduled to kick off in August. His Super Bowl halftime performance earlier this year garnered acclaim, featuring guest appearances by Alicia Keys, H.E.R., Jermaine Dupri, Lil Jon, and Ludacris.

Additionally, singer Victoria Monét will be honored with the Vanguard Award at the ASCAP event.
