USC quarterback Caleb Williams officially declared for the 2024 NFL draft on Monday afternoon.
Williams is widely considered as the top quarterback prospect in the draft. The signal-caller threw for 3,633 yards, 30 touchdowns and five interceptions with the Trojans last season. He leaves USC with over 10,000 passing yards, 93 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
The Patriots might have a chance to grab him with the third overall pick of the draft. Williams would jump-start a quarterback position in desperate need of a spark. New England has many holes to fill at several spots on the roster, and quarterback is undoubtedly one of them.
Since I was 10, all I ever wanted to do was to play football. The journey would be empty without the people who have supported and loved me. I will Fight On forever and rep Hornsdown4Life. I’m ready to do whatever it takes. I am officially declaring for the NFL Draft.

Wherever Williams lands will be one of the biggest storylines of the draft. His passing ability, as well as his mobility in and out of the pocket, make him an intriguing candidate for a Patriots offense still looking for the next great successor to Tom Brady.
