A moment that all of the NFL and its fans have been waiting for finally unfolded as perhaps the top prospect in the class USC quarterback Caleb Williams declared for the 2024 NFL Draft.
Williams has been touted throughout the process so far as one of the top players in the entire class and thought by many to be the top player overall. Williams has been ridiculously productive with the Trojans over the last two seasons putting up 93 total touchdowns and 8,170 passing yards during that time. Though Williams ultimately wasn’t able to take his team to the playoffs, he was without a doubt one of the few reasons they were even remotely competitive given how handicapped the team was by their defense.
reminder – this is why caleb williams goes (1.1). these are the sunday beams that will translate.
then freak stuff he does off schedule (far too much at times). there’s not a coach alive that doesn’t think he can’t mold a talent like this. pic.twitter.com/53jy2o8ZE3

There isn’t much you can’t ask Williams to do within an NFL offense. With a top-tier arm, elite-level playmaking ability both inside and outside the pocket, high-level accuracy, and high-level athleticism Williams can operate in any NFL offense and be a productive quarterback. Expect Williams to be potentially the first overall pick and have zero chance of escaping the first five picks of the 2024 NFL Draft.
