The biggest match-up of the Women’s World Cup so far comes tonight when the USA face the Netherlands in Wellington.
It’s a repeat of the 2019 World Cup final when the United States claimed a 2-0 win courtesy of second-half goals by Megan Rapinoe and Rose Lavelle.
Lifting the trophy again this year would make them the first women’s team to become world champions five times, while also being their third triumph in a row.
The Dutch are certainly capable of derailing those ambitions however and both teams got off to winning starts in Group E.
