With a new season of college football underway across the country this weekend, USA TODAY Sports, in conjunction with the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), has launched the 2023 US LBM Coaches Poll.
US LBM, a leading, national distributor of specialty building materials to professional builders, will be the official sponsor of the poll through the 2026 college football season.
You can visit the US LBM Coaches Poll website to view the current preseason rankings, led by the defending champion Georgia Bulldogs. Georgia received 61 first place votes but was not a unanimous choice at No. 1, with the Alabama Crimson Tide and Ohio State Buckeyes also receiving first-place votes.

In January, the team that receives the highest point total in the final poll of the season will receive the US LBM AFCA Coaches’ Trophy.
