The second women’s Major of the year is held at Lancaster Country Club, where most of the best players in the world tee it up for the chance to write their names into the history books.
Day one was a wild one, with the par 3 12th hole throwing up some huge numbers. The numbers behind the hardest hole at the US Women's Open are a sight to behold, with the 160-yarder playing a massive 0.8 strokes over par. It also witnessed World No.1 and tournament favorite Nelly Korda make a 10.
2021 winner Yuka Saso leads at two-under after round one with a host of big names well over par and looking set to struggle to make it through to the weekend.
