US To Send Ukraine 5M In Military Aid

U.S. Air Force members work on the preparation of a humanitarian aid drop for Gaza residents

The United States is set to provide Ukraine with an additional $725 million in military assistance, as reported by officials. This aid package includes counter-drone systems and munitions for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS). The provision of munitions for the HIMARS has raised speculation that more long-range missiles may be deployed in the conflict.

While the specific type of munitions for the HIMARS was not confirmed, Ukraine has been advocating for additional Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) missiles to target more sites within Russia. The officials, who chose to remain anonymous, shared this information ahead of the public announcement.

Furthermore, the assistance package comprises additional anti-personnel landmines, which Ukraine intends to use to impede the progress of Russian and North Korean ground forces in the Kursk region.
