Andriy Yermak, the head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office, expressed anticipation for Kellogg's visit in a post on Telegram. Yermak highlighted the importance of the visit, stating that Kellogg would provide detailed information on Russian aggression against Ukraine. Yermak emphasized the significance of direct communication with the new US administration in establishing a unified stance towards achieving a just peace.
President Donald Trump hinted at a potential meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the upcoming week. Trump also suggested the possibility of discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Zelensky is expected to lead Ukraine’s delegation at the Munich Security Conference, where Vice President JD Vance and Kellogg are also slated to be in attendance, although Trump will not be present.
