The US Mission to Saudi Arabia strongly condemned on Monday the recent attack by the Iran-backed Houthi militias on Yemen on the Kingdom's Jazan province. The attack left two people injured.
In a statement, the mission reiterated the United States' commitment to the security of Saudi Arabia.
"We call on the Houthis to cease immediately their attacks on civilians and to engage under UN auspices to find a political solution to the conflict," it added.
"The Yemeni people deserve a stable, peaceful future. The region deserves security and stability," it stressed.
