US Army hosts multinational live firing exercise in Germany

Two US service members were injured in Iraq during a joint US-Iraqi raid that resulted in the death of multiple ISIS operatives. The Defense Department confirmed that both injured service members are in stable condition and receiving treatment for their injuries.

The raid, conducted by US Central Command and Iraqi security forces, targeted senior ISIS leaders in the Hamrin Mountains in northern Iraq. Nine ISIS members, including a prominent leader, were killed in the operation. Additionally, large quantities of weapons, ammunition, and equipment were seized, and a workshop for manufacturing explosive devices was destroyed.
