US Secretary of State Antony Blinken engaged in discussions with his counterparts in Saudi Arabia and Qatar on Thursday to address the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict and work towards securing the release of hostages following the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. The talks aimed at establishing a post-conflict period in Gaza that ensures Hamas does not retain power and enables the people of Gaza to rebuild their lives and fulfill their aspirations.

During the call with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Blinken emphasized the importance of preventing Hamas from maintaining control in Gaza and supporting the residents in rebuilding their lives.
