US Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle confirmed that the detail typically assigned to former President Donald Trump was present on July 13, the day of the shooting at a Trump rally. Responding to inquiries from Wisconsin Republican Rep. Glenn Grothman regarding online speculation suggesting otherwise, Cheatle clarified that the security personnel assigned to Trump's protection were indeed on duty during the event.
