US President Joe Biden's All-Ireland prediction doesn't go to plan as Mayo lose to Dublin

Joe Biden's All-Ireland's prediction has not aged well following Mayo's defeat to Dublin in Sunday's quarter-final clash.

Dessie Farrell's side secured the victory by 12 points in the end as the Boys in Blue won by 2-17 to 0-11.

Colm Basquel was a key performer for Dublin as he scored two goals to guarantee progress through to the semi-final.

When US President Joe Biden visited Ireland in April, he declared "Mayo for Sam" in an emotional speech in Ballina.

Mayo's wait to claim the Sam Maguire trophy goes on for at least another year due to yesterday's All-Ireland exit.

The Yew County haven't won an All-Ireland title since 1951. However, it's not for the want of trying as they have reached the final 11 times since.
